The main difference I remember is that the HK had the chin cowl formed seperately, where as the Hobby Barn, the chin was moulded into the fuselage, and if you wanted to enclose the engine, you had to...

Back when the MK Magic became available in the glass kit a friend of mine had one. I got to fly it a few times and fell in love with it. You could do three rolls and just barely touch the elevator....
