Why glow unreliable?... You can use the twin sync from bill wike, this system has onboard glowing...and your engines are exactly in sync.

If money is no problem, then think about 2 saito twin's......

ON OFF ON 3. AUX CH turns sync on and off

Now you can turn the twin sync on or off with a switch on your transmitter.

I always use setting 2....

That is an other advantage with the twin sync from Bill Wike....it has glow drivers on board...
Easy to start....and when the engines are on idle the plugs are on.

I have two saito .62 four stroke on my h9 twin otter...with synchronizer.
If you tune up youre engines saperate they wont stall...and the advantage...they are in sync from 3000 to 10000 rpm...

it is not so bad after all....I have been looking for the weights of those enigines.

A saito .72 = 470 Gram the .62A who I have nowon my Twin Otter = 420 gram
the .90 twin = 720 gram...

thats why I chose the .90 instead of the .60 twin....the .90 is more powerfull ( the .60 Twin is like a .40 two stroke), the .90 has almost the same dimensions and the weight is less then the .60.

I have the twin comanche from TOPP.....and its a litte smaller....buth the width of the nacelles is 16 cm...so then only the cilinderheads are comming out....

Ok...but then it will only work if one of both engines wil consume all of his fuel.
When the engine fails otherwise (broken plug) then there is still fuel in the line...and the other engine keeps...

This won't work....it will work if the engines are close together...but in this case the engines are in the left and right wing...so they are at least 2 feet from eachother.

You can install the twin sync system from Bill Wike. This system wil turn the remaining engine instandlyto idle.
Than you can deside what to do....turn it off too, or give more power with just...

Of course is electric power easy, clean and fast to start...but there is one dimension missing...and that is sound.
The kit is disigned for .25-.40 2 stroke engine's and that gives good sound...but...
