Well, just ran across an almost new savage x 4.6 with all the accessories in original box for $325...  Looks pretty clean, less than a gallon of fuel through it.  What do you think Herrsavage?

I would be carful.  IMO the engine is the best part of any redcat.  The stock drivetrain can not hold up to the stock SH engine, I would not add more power, it will shred the rest of the car/truck...
