Sounds to me misaligned pinion and spur gear. Make sure both gears are aligned close and straight, not too close or it may all go too tight. It sounds like you have a small gap between them now.

Well, I can now only ask, why they don't give us cut outs in this case? Someone ever daredcall HPI?

The Exotek sure gonna fix that up, however,it can only be used with saddle packs - not exactly...

I wonder ifHPI did same recent changes to the Woven Graphite chassis. Never seen it but want one.

Thanks btw. for this helpful thread. I'm new to this place and just learned great things and goodies for my Sprint. Might have go try out those RS4...

The part number for the rear belt is A742.
