That is a very good engine, but it is not a $300 one. I bought mine (The same one) nib off ebay for $162 including shipping.
Does the receiver say "hpi"...

That is really cool. I will have to do that. I had the spring and pin break on me though even with the stock owb setup. Wouldn't this just wear out the spring rally really fast?

I AM really good with a screwdriver. NO ONE could have saved that engine...it was impossible. I don't care how good you are, you wouldn't have been able to save that engine. Period.

Okay I was driving my savage x (the little bit older one with the black/silver/orange body.)
I was going full throttle and all of a sudden I hear "Chunk!" and the engine stalls immediately.
