Thanks for the help. I swapped the wires and it ran in the right direction and ran good for about 60 seconds and the esc started smoking so I pulled wires off and am trying to figure out what I did...

Thanks for the help. Got it working but motor turns the wrong way. What happens if I swap the red and black leads on the motor side of the esc? Will it turn the other way or burn up the esc?
