yes it would but i wouldnt get that one i would shoot for these guys www.umlimitedengineering.com they are the toughest set of a-arms ive seen.

or go cheaper with the set of integy supension set...

dude my friend has a stampede and dont like it. it doesnt have enough power the e-maxx and the stampede have no comparison so i guess it is a good starter for u but i would have went with the e-maxx...
