RE: asize of cells

KW
I fly sport 40 size planes, so don't think the weight will be a problem.
A 1200 or 2000 mah would be fine. Where do you get these Nicad packs. I notice that
Tower no longer has these...

RE: Typical Building Times..

I always take longer to finish a plane than the estimate. Heck, Sometimes it takes me longer hunting for my misplaced Xacto or pliers or glue than the
time they say will build the entire plane. ...

RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

For the first few flights, use the low rate settings, You will still have plenty of control, but it won't be so wild. My first flight with my escapade was a little eratic so I tamed it by the low...

RE: Beginner to intermediate Planes

The Calmato sport 40 is a wonderful plane. I also would think the calmato 60 would be equally good. They are low in price, and they fly excellently, and
are well constructed. My Calmato sport...

The Kaos is my favorite plane. It is an excellent ARF. Easy to build, and a good lightweight rugged construction.
As for flying, a 46 will fly it great (I have a Thunder Tiger 46 Pro in mine). ...

RE: Koas 40

Any 40 or 45 will fly the Tower 40 Kaos just great. What is this "60 size plane?" The Tower Kaos is not a 60 size plane, and with a 45, it is a very manuevarable plane and with full power it is...

RE: Is There An ARF Similar to a Sig Kougar?

Why not try a Tower Kaos. It is highly manuevarable, yet easy to fly. Also easy to take off and land. It is really almost as easy to fly as the Tiger II, It just goes faster.

RE: Second and 3rd plane.

The GP Easy Sport, while mostly considered a trainer, can be quite maneauvarable, and is a good stepping stone to more sophisticated planes.
I have also seen many fairly new pilots with the...

RE: plane choice for .25 engine

I'll go with the Sonic low wing. My friend has had a couple of these, and they are good fliers and easy to fly. The quality of the ARF is high, and the price is cheap.

RE: Need help deciding on a new plane

Try a Tower Kaos.  Wonderful flyer, inexpensive, easy to take off and land, and will teach you a bunch as to aerobatics.

RE: I just lost my Four star 40 - what plane should I get now?

If you want to step up just a little, I would suggest the Kaos.  It is more aerobatic than the 4 star but is still easy to fly.  It is also easy to take off and land, and the price is right.  I agree...
