The T in T-28 stands for trainer and is very easy to fly, one of the best in wind as far as a trainer goes.

Is the wing spar 4.5 inches back from the leading edge ? I would check it from the spar and go from there.

I have a Decathlon with a Magnum 91 and it is awesome.  This is by far the best $124.00 plane i have ever seen.

I am putting together a Seagull Decathlon with pretty much the same specs as yours and i am using a Magnum 91, it should be a fun plane.

I am almost finished with a World Model ARF Super Chipmunk 91 and i would buy another,i paid $150.00 with retracts and i would buy another at that price in a heart beat.

Well i learned to fly with a Didty Birdy 40 and graduated to  a 60 20 years ago, i loved those planes very user friendly. I fly a 90 Super Chipmunk now and there is nothing like it.
