Thanks I'll try that.. Pretty sure the smaller .15 motor tuning specs calls for 2 1/2 turns on the HSN, but I'll look again

PS.. Those caps mess with my eyes when trying to decipher your...

I put a new glow plug in but get the same results. I messed with the idle control screw a little because it would also lunge when at idle once the engine warms up.
I have my high speed set at 2 3/8...

I have an old T-Maxx that has the .15 Pro in it. It was running well but has developed a problem. When I give it full throttle it will excellerate fine until it reaches where the transmission shifts...

That raises another questionI have. What is too much motor for the TC4? I'm not real positive on how the electric motors are rated, is it rpm's?

I was looking at the specs for the TC4 chassis and it says it has a Internal Gear Ratio: 2.5:1
Does this effect what motor I put in it?

Thanks Oz, yes I believe the race track I'm looking into has a beginner class that is "race what you brought" . So I guess it can be anything. I'll have to look into to see if there are any other...

Yep, see my post above... The manual didn't give me a part number for the connectors I loss.. Looks like it's the SIGSH658 .. I picked some up off E-Bay that are made for the 4-40

Great, looks like the Du-bro #103 are for .093 wires.... 4-40 wire's decimal equivalance is .1120

I guess I need SIGSH658 which are self threading nylon connectors..

Well the ones that came with the kit ( the ones I loss) are self-threading.. So when I ordered these and noticed the collar was to small I twisted the nylon connector on minus the metal collar.. It...

I ordered a Du-Bro #103 Strip Aileron Horn Set and can't get the locking collar on my 4-40 aileron horns.. Anyone here used these before? Did you use the collars? The self threading nylon connectors...

The whining motor. small gear, got worse and then it wouldn't raise the swash plate anymore..Took the servo apart and cleaned the fingers and the track, but it didn't do anything..

Definitely the Servo.. I took that little guy apart and flipped servos. I took a quiet Elevator Servo and switched it with the noisy Pitch Servo.. The problem followed the Servo, so it isn't my...
