Have you thought to just call Mike @ Top RC? He’s great to work with. Mine are the embedded/hidden type hinges.. You may have a grey market kit.

P-51 Engine

I used a DA-60. Flies great, plenty of power. I would not rec an 85 or an XPWR60. Electric on this bird just doesn’t sit right with me.

FockeWolf 190 Sierra Retracts

I have a slightly used FW190 air retract system with all 3 scale wheels that are for the Top Flite Giant Scale FW190. Plane somewhat dead, retracts unscathed. PM me if interested.

Tailwheel Issue

Thx Joshua, but it’s not the wheel collar at issue; that’s just a spacer. It’s the actual control arm that won’t stay tight in place on the main shaft. And it’s aluminum.

I actually put the DA 70 in the 190 cowl and I don't think it will fit with caps without a small hole. If just measure max diameters it may appear to fit but the max May not be in the correct...

It will fit using a da70. But there's a max of 1/4" clearance at each spark plug. I'm pretty sure you'll need a 1.0"x0.5" hole on each side for the spark cap.

Been absent for a while due to other projects. Have run a couple 5 min tanks thru the 84 while taxiing and getting throws set up. No maiden yet due to Wx. Will add some pix with final graphics work....

Call Down & Locked or better yet, the real thing to do is send them to D&L and have them fix/upgrade them for something like $50-$100...well worth it....
