Maybe try putting the charger on NiCd setting and...

Maybe try putting the charger on NiCd setting and put the Delta Peak level on 7mV... I believe the default Delta Peak level is 7mV for a NiMh pack and 12mV for a NiCd battery on the iMax.

I would try messing with the USB/Temp Select...

I would try messing with the USB/Temp Select setting...put the charger on Temp Cut-Off and set the max temp. to 80°C or turn off the Temp. Cut-Off feature (some models you can, I can't on mine).
