I second Dave. 2:1 really helps to get you out of sticky situations. I need to be able to quickly climb out of maneuvers when I get in trouble because I like to practice a little lower to the ground.

I heard from a guy at my field that a 72Mhz signal was stronger and has a much larger range than the 2.4 systems. Although susceptible to interference, the FM signal isn't as affected by obstructions...

Thank you for the reply. I will forget the alkaline battery idea lol. However, how do you know if the servos are digital? I have all standard servos, futaba s3003 I think is the number on them?

Wow, great explaination! I have never experienced that yaw effect while flying. Are these larger airplanes that you have experienced that with or does the size of the aircraft make little difference?
