Great Planes electric Firebat experience?

right on Cobra, thats what I'd rather avoid. Flying my converted cox sky cruiser is beginning to get a bit redundant. It isn't too fast, but any faster would buckle the wings even without ailerons....

cheap motor from wally world?

ok, I've done some more research and I think a motor like the johnson 250 from electronic goldmine is something more along the lines of what I need. I tried a different brand name toothbrush that...

first park flyer conversion

After I become a little more experienced as a pilot, I may reconsider buying the firebat. Until then I'll stick with trying to convert a hobbico voodoo to r/c. Sounds like it should be a blast to...

its nice to hear some good comments about the plane. After a few hours of reading threads last nite I'm almost convinced not to buy it since I'd rather spend more time flying than fine tuning and...

free-flight to park-flyer conversion help?

lmao! well I suppose I might be over estimating its weight since I don't have it on hand, but even if it were 3 ounces that would be pushing it I suppose. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered a 560 mAh...

Yeah I'm aware of the weight restrictions, but I was just seeing if I could eliminate some cost since I've already got a charger that will charge the 600 mAh battery. The battery weighs a good 5 oz....
