Thanks for the info guys..much appreciated...at the moment, i might stick with the brushed setup for my plasma edge until i mastered my skills...when im ready for brushless, i will get a new car...

Sorry for late reply guys...just got back from holiday. I might need to buy the traxxas xl 5 from ebay then since i couldnt find it at local shops. Do i need to buy a new servo too?

Just bought plasma edge and we love it. The only thing though, it comes with tamiya adspec gp transmitter which looks a bit cheap.

Thanks for the info guys. I was was googling last night and came accross Maverick  strada xb evo for $200. Its 4wd and looks good to me. Any thoughts? And also, which one is better 4wd or 2wd?
