If you don't like the phaeton ( FWIW... blasphemy ) you likely won't like the aeromaster or the liberty sport in terms of how they fly....

The ultimate is the best flying of the bunch......

There aren't a lot of parts in the kit.... wing ribs... formers and sides for the body.... grab the templates file and make it yourself would be my advice. There should be templates for the landing...

$300+ for a kit.... its funny how things change, I bought mine 5 years ago for about $175, makes me think I should sell instead of crack it open!

I think its going to be my winter build though :-)...

My original Ultimate has been doinked about 5 times over the 20 years or so I've had it... each time I just straightened the metal out and remounted the wing... never had a problem and it always flew...

I'm surprised your 20cc + ignition weighs less than the 1.20.

I used square carbon fiber rod, hooked up the way the plans have the balsa rod for the original plane.

switch lasting long in its current spot.... any glow or oil leaks will spray it.... any lawn clippings you make will get...

Contacted Tower Hobbies, they said they don't carry the spare...

the plane flies well in a .60... and has unlimited vertical on a 1.20 or 20 cc engine.

you'll have some serious prop clearance issues as well....

have one with an O.S. 1.20 in the nose…. servos are in stock locations and it balances perfectly. used to have a .91 in the nose and it was tail heavy by a lot. I think you'll be ok. install servos...
