OK i weighted it today, the plane on wheels, AUW is 9 3/4 lbs. remove the wheels and landing gear struts, and add the Floats and their mounting gear 2 1/2 Lbs. So the approximate AUW is 12 lb's on...

this plane was 6 1/2 lbs on wheels, then i added weight with the engine change and the electronics lights and batteries, the floats also add weight.
at present on floats this plane is still just...

It is a Unionville Turbo Beaver Kit. thus the longer nose, the only glass in it is the cowl and canopy. the rest is built up Balsa. As for scale? it is more stand way off scale. but i enjoy flying...

It is built pretty close to instructions. it weights 6 1/2 lbs on wheels. the extra 9 volt batteries for the Lighting systems added some weight.

Aproximately 9 yrs old, 8ft Unionville Turbo Beaver, Saito SGK 91, (golden Knight) 3 Blade 14X7 MAS Prop. with true turn spinner. Flaps, Landing lights, and flashing Nav lights.
