Anyone know how to rewind an AXI 2212/34? I managed to burn mine out. What gauge wire? Star or Delta? How many winds?

RE: 3D Hell Raiser

Good luch 3Ding with a nose heavy plane.

Mine snapped in half. I glued it back together and slipped the battery through the bulkhead. It flies a lot better with the CG further back.
Mine is...

RE: 3D Hell Raiser

Thanks Mike and Skidbo.

The engine bulkhead eventually gave in and the motor broke loose. Since I had to cut the remaining balsa off, I ended up moving the motor back about a half an inch by...

RE: 3D Hell Raiser

Skibo,

Talk to me. I flew again this morning. It is too far forward. It keeps wanting to tip. I have it up against the bulhead. Wouldn't it be too far back if it were behind the bulkhead? I...

I can now answer my own questions about the durability. It is quite brittle.

I sanpped the wings pulling out of a dive, the landing broke the fuselage and the motor mount.
Lots of epoxy and...

Do you think my Lipos are fried

I have been charging my 1500Kokams at 1.4 Amps.
When I run my Axi 22/12/34 at WOT with a fully charged battery my 3 cell drops to 8.5 Volts and I cant seem to pull more than 7.5 Amps. (15 ounces...

RE: What AXI or outrunner for FoamyFactory Extra

That would be great. There seems to be a lot of confusion about these two motors.
I have a 2212/34 in my 3DX, have just finished a hell raiser and am not sure which AXI to use.
At 6000 feet...

RE: What AXI or outrunner for FoamyFactory Extra

RE: gws gearbox noise

Assuming that you shimmed the motor with a thin piece of paper between the gears as you tightened down the motor, I would suggest that the problem is an unbalanced propr/bent shaft that send a...
