Not in my hangar.

The only thing fading away for me, is the cost. I've been given several used glow engines, and gleaned some vintage classics off eBay. I can't stand a glow engine that won't run, so it's fun for me...

RE: The End is Near!

I'll be flying my K&B .40's until the bitter end. I'm very fortunate that I was able to learn to build from George Schindel and the late Reggie King. I have ARF's, but I can also build from scratch...

RE: crop duster r/c

:eek:If we all kicked and screamed for Kyosho to re-issue the Agwagon ARF, do you think they would? I've sent several requests to them, and so far nothing. [:@]

RE: Cool Power 5 % glow fuel opinion

I have a gallon of Cool Power 5% and a gallon of Omega 5%. Cool Power is for ringed engines and Omega is for non-ringed engines. I trust the folks at Morgan Fuels, and have never been disapointed....

RE: OS .45FS problems

Most likely, you are using a fuel with castor in it. So do I. This is good. However, in my personal experience, sometimes my engines seem to run erratically, and/ or die in flight. When this begins...

RE: supertiger .45 will not stay running

I normally run my ABC engines (all are two stroke) on syn/cas 10% nitro. It's only when they start acting funny that I will burn the Cool Power in them. When they straighten out, I return to syn/cas....

RE: Is Cool Power cool fuel?

I like Cool Power. I alternate between syn/cas and all synthetic. The syn/cas provides castor protection, and the all synthetic cleans out  excess cooked on castor. All my engines are happy!:)

RE: supertiger .45 will not stay running

Hi Redrocket,  I have the same engine and used to experience the same problem. I noticed that when I would turn the prop through the compression stroke v e r y slowly, I could feel it the piston...

RE: Sig cub choice!

I just finished an 1/6 scale RC-3 "Craftsman's Kit". Translation: Lots of work. It flies good though! I'm using an inverted K&B .40. I wound up using the stock muffler, because the cowl is too narrow...

RE: SuperTigre mid-range problems?

In my experimentation, I realized that the idle has to be rich enough to compensate for the fact that there is no accelerator pump to jet a stream of fuel into the carb upon instant wide open...

RE: SuperTiger

I had a problem with the elevons fluttering at high speed. I tried Dubro heavy duty servo arms, and sealed the gap between the wing and elevons. Winglets cured the problem. --Twanger

RE: Cool Power bad rep?

I like to switch back and forth from syn/cas to straight synthetic. I'll run syn/cas until I can feel the prop shudder as I SLOWLY turn it through a compression stroke by hand. This seems to happen...
