Where did that buggy race onboard video go?

A while ago I found this really awesome video from a camera mounted onboard of a nitro buggy during a race. It was extremely clear and you could see the front shock arms of the buggy as the buggy...

Using WD-40 in replecement of after run ?

Sounds like I need to exonerate myself.

It was not iron oxide I meant to say. Perhaps I was thinking about oxidation and that came to mind. WD-40 will prevent iron oxidation, but it will corrode...

Using WD-40 in replecement of after run ?

There've been countless messages about this already.

WD-40 is bad. It breaks down iron oxide, which lines the engine cylinder. If you want to corrode your engine, try it out.

The point of...

Is this true regarding the Savage RTR 25??

Does anyone have a good connection to a hobby shop owner or employee who can call up HPI and ask about ETA and expected price range?

What's so bad about running on grass?

That makes a lot of sense. The grass needs to be flattened by the wheels when the RC rolls over it, which makes for a lot more resistence. If the ground clearance isn't enough, then grass will drag...

What's so bad about running on grass?

So some people have been saying that running monster trucks and buggies on grass is bad, and they will stake their RCs on it, but no one seems to know exactly why it is bad. I can understand bits of...

1/8 RTR Buggy Shootout Article in RC Car Action?

The X-Terminator won it, but would you want to buy it. Only HobbyPeople sells it because they made it themselves, and one reason why they make their own buggy is because none of the distributors that...

1/8 RTR Buggy Shootout Article in RC Car Action?

I recall there being an 1/8 RTR buggy shootout in either the RC Car Action or RC Nitro magazines. I tried to find it at the stores but could not find the magazine anywhere. If someone has that...

What is the point of a fast nitro car

To directly answer your question, it seems that, for many people, having the fastest car basically equates to having the biggest d*ck. There are always those for whom this is not the primary reason,...

Top end speeds (MPH) of RTRs

I've heard that the Savage 21 does about 33mph top speed. I can see how that number can go up or down a few steps just from manufacturing variances, so I'm cool with that. I've also heard that the...

snow bogin/mud bogin dangerous

Stumping? I didn't know you asked a question.

Sand is bad for most moving parts. Between moving parts, it becomes sandpaper and wears down the metal. In an engine, it basically destroys the smooth...

Nitro car liquids and oils ...

I don't think WD-40 is good as an after-run oil because it tends to break down iron oxide, and I understand that iron oxide lines the engine cylinders. Essentially, you end up breaking down the...
