A leaky pipe will generally rob power since the tuning effect gets screwed up and the back pressure is reduced. It also creates very erratic running/tuning which is common for any type of air leak.

That should be fine. I've run with collets that are WAY off and they have still held up. What I would do though is remove the spacer behind the collet to align the gears properly.

Right. You would have to replace almost all the rear end hardware in order to use the quick change feature. The adaptor allows the use of the QC wheels but secures them with a nut.

No it won't work in a car. It's most likely a Thunder Tiger GP-40, which is .40 size engine. The block would be way to big for any production vehicle, and the cooling head is too small to work...

Two options:

1) Spend about $100+ to completely convert to an AD2

or

2) Just get the MF2 qc wheel adaptors. However, you'll be able to use the wheels, but still with a nut.
