GY520 Red light or blue light for AVCS?

The GY 520 gyro shows a solid blue or red light to indicate either AVCS mode or Rate mode. The manual however, has a problem.

On page 3 the manual says a solid blue light indicates AVCS mode...

I had a similar question regarding the voltage limits for this servo. The new Hitec Aurora will allow use of unregulated 2 cell lipos to power the servos. Is this too much for the Futaba servos?
