Thats a good idea on the rudder assembly. For me to put it on the side I wiould have to start some serious cutting on the deck. What about the option of making this electric?

Thanks for posting the picture. If your able to post more it would be appreciated. The old shovelnose hydroplanes and Chris Crafts with the Mahogany wood work look like floating art to me

Well I decided it was easier to start over on my sprint project and found a Brown Pease Rc10gt set up with a box full of parts and a chassis to build another one. It is powered by an OS max .12 TZ...

Well the recent up dates for me, Is I have placed foam tires on it it still want to see how fast I can get it to go. 33 mph was unacceptebale. I am going to try the Epic .18 again on the next run....
