RE: airbrush???

I use an Iwata Evolution ($70) brush. I have used it for the last 3 years and after 30+ paint jobs for customers it has yet to let me down. Well worth the small amount of cash.

RE: brush or spray

Hey Rusty. Sorry I was out of town for a few days. Only use paint that is compatable with lexan useage. If you don't then it will flake off as soon as you crash or take a tumble. Pactra makes small...

RE: brush or spray

I always trim the body before paint. It just eliminates any chance for scratching the fresh paint when your trimming it out that way.

RE: brush or spray

Depends on the color you choose. Darker color's will cover a bit easier than light ones. "usually' 2 light coat's of black or a dark color is sufficent most time's, and for lighter ones it will be...

RE: brush or spray

That should be simple for you to do then even if you haven't sprayed anything before. Best thing to do is pick up a jar of liquid mask from the LHS (about $4) and take a small brush and cover the...

RE: Paint Removal!

Try to stay away from the oven cleaner and other "strippers" such as that that contain harsh chemicals. You never can tell what reaction they will have on lexan. Personally I don't stip paint off...

RE: brush or spray

You will have alot better looking job by spraying it. Spraying paint is not hard as long as you prep it properly. Nice paint jobs look that way because 90% of the time goes into preping them. What...

RE: My new basher body

The only suggestion I would make different from that article is to use a hard surface for pouring the paint onto instead of a piece of paper. Paper will soak up the paint and wont give quite as bold...

RE: fade help

No need to mask off a fade paint job. It's best done with an airbrush but you can get satisfactory results with cans as well. Simply start at the nose of the body and as you get to the area of the...

RE: How to get a Carbon Fiber look.
