I dont think knife edge is realistic at all in G4.5. It´s much more difficult than real life . When making rolls, plane drops too much thru knife edge steps. This is big failure in G4.5.

How do you drill holes for the screws in the props.
I use to have a hard time trying to align holes in the prop and holes in the crankshaft, ending up enlarging the prop holes to fit the screws....

I agree with RoysterDW, you can´t go from glow to gas without a learning procces. I went thru many problems with my spe 26. Now with more than 200 flights I´m very confident with it.

The problem was caused by a clogged screen (carburator grid).
Dirt in the screen produced a leaning idle, going to full throttle cleaned the screen.
Removing and cleaning the screen solved all...

Yes its related to the use of a 13 mm venturi carburator (insted of 9.6 mm).

I am sure there are no air leaks . All bolts are tight

I forgot to add:
This only happens at the start just after priming .Whitout priming start is ok.
Thats why I think it is due to an excess of fuel at the chamber.
