i doubt you would have much of a problem with torque and gyro forces with the smaller diameter of the ducted fan blades (as opposed to the 2-blade style you mentioned). just a thought. i like it...

If my options were:
1.) Mega 16/15/2 with a 6000mah (2S4P) LiPo, or
2.) Mega 16/15/3 with a 4500mah (2S3P) LiPo

which one would last longer in flight? SRA, you said the /3 runs lower...

A LiPo that could handle the current draw would be pretty expensive... Any idea on what the specifics will be? (motor and battery size, etc). If it isnt horribly expensive, I would consider it.
