If you go to post #1476 you will see the extension that I had put on my DLE30. It is Teflon hose. I just cut it to length, ruffed up the inside of one end with a file and secured it with a hose...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

I have used the pants on mine since the first flight. I fly off pavement however. If flying off grass they may get gunked up. A 30cc is just fine for this bird, mines got a DLE30. The tires are...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

I have been flying mine with the DLE-30 on a 19x8 xoar for a couple of months now. It has plenty of power for anything I have put it through. I havent tried to hover it, mostly because I havent...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

Congrats on the maiden. I hope yours went as smoothly as mine did. I havent gotten to fly a whole lot lately but, the DLE30 pulls it around with gobs of power and barely has a gallon through it. ...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

I finally flew my Decathlon. Lined it up with the centerline and slowly advanced the throttle. The DLE 30 got it rolling and in the air in about 30 feet (about 3/4 throttle). Two clicks of down...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

I have just mounted my DLE 30 like pedrocca did with the stock standoffs. I didn't use nylon spacers however, just fender washers on both sides of the firewall. They allowed for the fitting the cowl...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

For those that have flown the SD, how well do you think a DLE 30 spinning a 19x6 or 8 at around 7600 rpm will do on this plane? I would like a 40 but, I'm really trying to keep the weight down. I...

I'm still waiting on the Y-DA 38 I pre-ordered. As soon as I finally get it, it shouldnt take me long to finish it all up. I usually would be in a frenzy and having fits about it taking so long but,...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

Has anyone come up with a way to secure the wing struts to the fus. without having to use a nut and bolt which could come off in flight or eventually get worn out from constantly being put on and...
