Bigger carbs don't usually run any better unless the original was way too small...Not likely...I once put a big SDC 80 on a G62, made no difference at all...
Not saying it won't but 8000 on a 65cc...

If you put a pressure fitting in the cover it's a good idea to block the hole in the carb body to prevent a pressure leak..I tap the hole with a 4-40 tap and screw a nylon screw in the hole, then cut...

The carb gets pulses from the crank through a small hole in the carb body..Horizon sells rotator blocks with a passageway for the pulse...I make rotator insulator blocks for my conversions...If you...

Another possibility....Maybe someone drilled out the carb to use methanol ?
Make sure the inlet needle is closing...You should not be able to blow into the inlet line hard enough to unseat the...

A 65cc engine that will turn a 22-10 at 8400 is the killer engine of all time for that size ;)

You won't get good readings unless you set the carb yourself...Unless the engine mfr runs each engine before...

A G62 turning a 22-10 at 7800 is wishful thinking unless it has a tuned pipe on it, if Horizon says 7800 they are nuts....
A MSC 22-10 turns about 6400, a Dynathrust 22-10 about 7400...Other brands...
