RE: UW 3000 fabric for a runway

If you are looking for an alternative to pavement or fabric, check out a product called Soiltac. I used in on my runway about 8 years ago and it's still holding up great without even a crack.

RE: Hobby King Customer Support

RE: What is a lifetime of business worth?

Maybe I'm wrong because I have never been brave enough to try but I don't know of any hobby shop that will let you return an airplane after you have already started assembly.

Let me know the...

RE: cheap Vs

I personally know of 8 lipo manufacturers in China alone. I know that there are many more. The quality does vary widely.

RE: not sure what i am doing wrong, but the plane will barely fly!

Actually, the wattage and amp draw are not determined by the battery capacity (assuming you have a battery large enough to handle the system current draw). Those numbers are determined by the motor...

RE: Best way to blow up a lipo?

RE: NITRO MODELS, BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Um..I don't think bad word of mouth regarding their products or customer service will hurt them - so you are wasting your time. They sell based on price and price only - that's why they got you to...

RE: Spectrum Problems

Unfortunately, the average modeler does not own a scope, nor do they know how to use one. For the last couple decades, modelers have just connected their appropriate sized battery/bec to the receiver...

RE: KMP

Actually, it cost much more to make a scale fuselage than a non-scale one. Besides the hundreds of hours in extra research and design time, you have to account for extra reinforcements in critical...

RE: ETM Avenger

It's funny that we have all these "experts" running around but what they don't realize is that most smaller companies or individuals who sell ARFs have little or nothing at all to do with the design....

I'll translate this thread for the folks at KMP:

Basically what some people here want is a Top Gun competitive plane out of the box that assembles and flies by itself for under $200.00.

RE: skyshark kits no more

Take a look at car makers and tell Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Lotus, Bently, Rolls etc. that their cars are no better than Ford or Chevy.
