I just tweaked my gear a bit. If the pilot rc gear is a match I would like to go that route and save some weight. I guess if anyone doesn't have the measurements I will just pull mine off.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the main gear? I am curious if the gear off the pilot rc 300 (appears to be a clone of this plane) will fit it. Also, what does the stock gear weigh? Hopefully...

Also, the Mueller header is almost 2oz lighter than the MTW header. I have both batteries right up against the firewall. It was a tad tail heavy, so I spaced out the motor 2 #10 washers under each...

Joe, keep in mind the BME 58 is 6oz lighter than a DA 50. Transition is perfect with the pipe. I also went with a simple battery setup, titanium axles, H9 prolites. Nothing extra in my plane...

Here is a pic of mine, BME 58 w/ES Pipe, 7955s all around, A123 2300 for rx and 1200 for ignition. Awesome little plane! 17lbs
