Peter, just use some good Velcro to mount the cam.
I tested mine yesterday by mounting it to my baseball cap with Velcro. Worked like a charm and I am very pleased with the video and sound quality.

I hate to be the one to say it, but for some reason that boom looks way too long compared to the size of the canopy.

Thanks guys, when I first plugged mine in, the light was solid. The instructions says it will blink while charging. After leaving it there for about 10 min it got warm so it must have been charging....
