RE: TF FW190 GIANT ARF

I'm enjoying this thread. I've been out of the hobby for 10 years but this model has rekindled my interest. It is very tempting to buy even if it just sits in my closet for a couple years while I...

RE: Big ME-109G

I love the ad! It is very original, clever, and amusing.

I also like the model! Enough so that I bought two of them! Keep up the excellent work, Sykshark.

RE: Skyshark ME109-E Build

I'll take one each 69" 109A and 69" 190D. That leaves only 499 each for someone else to buy.

RE: FW-190 experts - need gear help

I would guess the color to be khaki, similar to the tail wheel boot used on the bf109. See the NASM 109 tail wheel boot in a photo here: ...

RE: FW-190 experts - need gear help

I think the very early versions of the 190A had molded rubber boots, but I have seen engineering drawings with sewn canvas boots for the early version as well. Not sure how long the boots were used,...

RE: Pica Focke Wulf 190D

This was my first Pica D-9. I had an ASP .75 in it. A terrible engine; it flamed out on take off and caused the model's demise.

RE: Pica Focke Wulf 190D

I like the .90 two stroke for this model. It does require modifying the engine mounting beams to invert the engine.

I have an OS .91FX in this model:

RE: Skyshark ME109-E Build

I will also be watching this build with interest! I ordered the 109E, but changed my mind, and asked Mike to put my payment toward the 109G kit that is coming out later this summer. I am sure much...
