RE: YS 160DZ on a Hanger 9 .60 size mustang

I dont think its overkill as much as just down right dangerous. If you get more than a few flights out of that combo I would be suprised.

the firewall will rip out and someone will most likely...

RE: which arf corsair would you recomend

who knows, perhaps youre right. I do know that an 80 inch hellcat that didnt look like a toy would do real well.
Confronted with a nice ARF Hellcat or Corsair in the 80 inch size, I would go...

RE: which arf corsair would you recomend

I really think that manufacturers would have a real "hit" with a 80 inch Corsair done right. One simply doesnt exist. I love the Corsair but the CMP or the Hangar 9 (God Bless em) just dont do it for...

RE: World Models 60 Mustang or H-9

the WM Mustang (petie II) is easily the best flying warbird out there. Air foiled tail group and flaps. great plane and fun to fly. I am sure the H9 flies fine too but I like flaps. I dont think you...

RE: KMP Typhoon? Spitfire? ME 109E trying to decide..

my problem with the KMP 109 isnt money. I dont feel ripped off, I feel like more was included in the kit just to say "everything is included in the box". I honestly dont want to hunt down struts and...

RE: KMP Typhoon? Spitfire? ME 109E trying to decide..

I have the 109, the landing gear is a total joke and a complete waste of time. Sorry Alan, I'm calling it as I see it. The plane flies ok and lands nicely but almost all my plastic doodads were...

RE: Any word on H9 or TF releasing the next warbird

I dont really care about the "super scaleness" of any arf. I mean, obvious flaws are a bummer but an overall good representation of the plane is good enough for me. When I fly my H9 giant p-47 at...

RE: giant Hellcat or Corsair ARF?

I saw one too, yes, I was also impressed. Unfortunately, its a Zero.
I dont know what it is, I just cant get into a Zero. Great planes, made our Wildcats look silly, but I just cant get excited...

RE: giant Hellcat or Corsair ARF?

with as well as the P-47 and Mustang do for Hangar 9, I wouldnt be shocked if they had a big Corsair or Hellcat on the way. Seems foolish not to.
The UltraRC one is probably the same one that...

giant Hellcat or Corsair ARF?

is anyone coming out with a 80+ inch Hellcat or Corsair anytime soon?

Ultra RC was working on one to match the Zero they sell but its been a while.

I sure would love to add one to my fleet....

RE: What engine did you put in your Top Flite giant P-51?

A broken in Moki spinning a 20 inch prop @ 7500-8000 rpm is almost impossible to beat, power to weight. Nothing spins that prop faster and is that light.

They idle perfect, transition nice, oh...

RE: KMP ME 109 or CMPro P-40

the retracts that come with the KMP 109 are a total joke. Mine dont hold air and the struts are a waste of time. So, dont look at the retracts as a plus.
I have a CMP Hellcat and the KMP 109 and...

RE: New Hangar 9 1.50 P-51 Build

I sure like the looks of that one much more than the first run.
