As far as I know, the body and the nose cone come together. The vertical fins and the elevons with tape are all seperate. But I am heading there now...

I have some video to show that it flies well in the wind. Infact if you were to use the 8 cell battery, make sure it's topped up and make sure your Stryker is not suffering from the SLOW blues, AIM...
