Thumbs up EFlite 1.2m Clipped Wing Cub on floats

Eflite has another winner with the 1.2m Clipped Wing Cub. Classic Cub looks and all out aerobatic ability. Matched with the recommended floats it is a fun flying combo for the beach, pond or lake....

Eflite valiant 1.3m on floats

Hi Guys,

Having a lot of fun with this one. Easy to fly off the water, quiet for early morning sorties, and even reasonably aerobatic. I'm flying the bind and fly version with the AS3X receiver....

The 30" www.seaplanesupply.com floats are a perfect match for the Advance. I have been float flying since the mid 70's and have a multitude of floats and much prefer flat bottom floats for the ease...

Since the Advance is going to be a dedicated floatplane I removed the blind nuts for the nose gear mount and cut a cooling hole for the esc and batteries.

The Advance is set up for mini servos...
