It does have a dykes ring, but what does this mean as far as prop size? I run a 12x 5.25 on my .46, so couldn't a .50 turn a 12 inch prop too?

Thanks for the info! I just ran a tank very rich with the 13x6. I will have to go to my lhs soon to purchase an11x6. Boy did it make a cool sound! Nothing like my .46fx. How and when do I adjust...

Could I use a 13x6 or is that too big? It is ringed, so what is this break-in procedure? How many 9 oz tanks? What is the idle/transition needle procedure?

ok so I figured out that I do have the old style backplate by comparing it to the link provided by w8ye (thanks). I cannot order the seal kit yet because it is backordered. I will order them both...

I am certain the problem is not foaming fuel because my tank is packed well in foam, and I can see through the tank hatch while the engine is running. I do not see any foam or bubbles in the fuel...
