I ran into that problem also so I made a custom fiberglass tank to fit between the spar and the steering servo and will use the rear stock tank for smoke if i decide to add it

extended fuel tank

stock tank would not fit between the nose steering servo and the wing tube socket,
also found it to be too small so i made a custom tank 1850 ml, should give me about 12 mins with the xicoy tp 45...

i made a fiberglass fuel tank 1850 ml that fits between the wing tube and the nose steering servo the stock tanks did not fit between the steering servo and the wing spar tube
as shown in the manual...
