RE: Madmax's Associated TC5 build thread!

I love building cars but I never seem to get around to putting in the electronics... I'm just weird like that; I have at least 2 rollers sitting around waiting for electronics.

Anyways back on...

RE: RC Waffle- SCAMMER! Get the word out!

Yeah that sucks. I hope he gets prosecuted. Too bad though, because if I didnt know this, I woulda bid on that roller, the one that the guy sold him.

RE: The Official - Tamiya F103GT - Racing Thread

At least that, if not more. It depends on what batteries you run, though. I'm surprised I'm getting so much time out of a year old 6cell venom. I usually get tired of driving before my batteries...

RE: 6 to choose

The Sprint is a full RTR, so it comes with the radio and everything (although I think they make a roller chassis).

RE: HPI Micro RS4

I'm going to try drifting with my 540 micro RS4. http://aktionrc.com So when I want to drift, I throw in a stocker and drift tires, and for beating nitros, I throw in a low turn.

RE: Dramatic RC Raceway

Very nice looking track. I have been tooling with the idea of starting my own track and hobby store, also, although space where I live can be very expensive. Like Relay, I'm trying to piece...

RE: San Jose Area

Yeah, I remember there was a small dirt track over by D & J Hobbies (at least I think it was over there...). If it wasn't D&J, it was a big hobby store in a strip mall, and in the parking lot, there...

RE: 1/18 scale track

Well the only I can see, Cam, is that your track lanes are just tape. If you have some extra hose laying around (which may be pretty common in a barn) then you should line your track with that, or...

RE: mini-z vs. a 1/10 touring car

Yeah, 1/10 is probably way better, but it's always fun to see people's faces when your mini goes faster than their 1/10. But ya, you should go for a 1/10 tourer.

RE: mini-z vs. a 1/10 touring car

Here's a link: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXURP6&P=7

And it is a kit too, so you will have to supply your own radio system.

Mini Drifting?

How many of you have mini drifters (like the MRS4 or M18) and do you ever take them out to drift meets? What do you do to them to get them drift ready?

RE: Mini Drifters?

Hmm well I'm actually going to try it with my 540 Micro RS4, so I'm thinking either a 27t or a 19t should suffice. If I have to, I'll break out my low turn mods, but I think that might be overkill...

RE: mini-z vs. a 1/10 touring car

Mini Drifters?

How many of you have mini-drifters and what do you do to them to make them competition ready? Should I get a torquey motor, or a high-revving low turn?

RE: San Jose Area

Yeah I know, the closest hobby shop here is like 20 minutes away... And Sheldon's? I've been there a few times, and I'm working on a drifter right now so I'll go check that out. And the racing at...

Mini Open Classes?

When you go race 1/18 cars (I'm talking about on-road, but if it applies to off-road, then thats cool, too), is it okay, or have you ever seen anyone with a 540 or 480 size motor racing in an open...
