Had nothing but problems with an os engine mounted inverted in a u can do. Finally mounted it horizontally and all problems resolved. No doubt tank position is the issue.

Drube, check the picture more closely it shows the scrap pieces glued in on the top right of the picture. If I remember these are just spacers for the aileron to be cut out later.

VJ, I used button head screws but you might check out Tom's thread, he used some sort of tape that looks really good.

Will be looking forward to Anthony's thread, his thread on his cub inspired...

Have any of you cub brothers tried using the hangar 9 1/4 scale landing gear on a 1/4 scale Sig cub? They look pretty good and are about half the price of the Robarts.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the info, will check it out. That is what it felt like, just not enogh tension on the retainers. Was unsure if you could get to it by taking the servos out.

Nexstar Landing gear

Just put together my Nexstar and I am having trouble getting the landing gear to lock in place. They seem to fit fine with no binding etc, but just don't seem to lock in. Any ideas?
