RE: Wing Manufacturing P-39 Airacobra

I purchased the plans from some plan service and actually spoke with a woman that I'm assuming is the wife of one of the designers. They are easy to build over, and show all of the important pieces...

RE: Wing Manufacturing P-39 Airacobra

I love p-39s and built the Pepino model but haven't flown it yet. Life got in the way! Power is an AXI 5345 outrunner.

RE: High Voltage ESC's

Tom,
I have used both the Sentillion 100 and Castle HV110. I like both of them, but I don't push either one of them very hard. My setups tend to be over designed as far as the ESC is concerned....

RE: 1/4 Scale Balsa USA J-3 Cub

Caley,
Your cub will be approximatly the same size as the Hanger 9 cub. I know that there are several power systems that will fit it. If you order your components from Hobby City, you should be...

RE: Electric Wood Props

Has anyone tried the Xoar props in the larger sizes. I'm looking at the 22x10E and was wondering how it would compare with APC
and Mejzlik?
Thanks,

Can someone chime in here as to how these compare with APC props. I'm interested in Amp draw and Rpm comparisons.

Thanks,
Darrell B.

RE: Rhino Lithium Batteries

I don't think that the Rhino packs are just relabled cells. Especially the larger 4900mAh cells. I have noticed that several of the manufacturers in the states are still stacking smaller cells to...

RE: 1/5 scale Bell P-39 Aircobra...

Well here it is ready for a maiden flight. I have converted my 9C futaba radio over to 2.4ghz and I'm a little apprehensive about my first flight with this plane being with a "new" radio. I still...

RE: Saab J-21

Peder F,

Judging from your last post this project wouldn't be any more difficult than the Bell P-39 that I am finishing up for this spring. It has taken me almost two years but the results will...

RE: Saab J-21

Peder,
Are the fiberglass parts available for pruchase from someone? I would also be interested in plans for your fantastic looking plane.

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: P-39 Airacobra anything thread!

FotoFly,

Dito on the thankyou to Jim Pepino. His plans, although not easy to build from are good plans, seem to have all of the information that a person needs, and everything fits quite well.

RE: Top Flite Giant P-51 Conversion

I'm not shure what happened to them. If you don't need the adjustability of the Solo prop, then Zinger has some nice 3 and 4 blade props that will work just fine. I'm looking at one

RE: Saab J-21

Peso,
Did you ever finish your J21? If so, did you ever do anything along the lines of producing fuselages or plans for the wing and tail?
Thanks,

RE: Top Flite Giant P-51 Conversion

Has anyone tried any of the 4 blade props from Zinger? They look like they would work well and weigh much less than the Solo props. The only down side is that you have to choose which pitch you...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly Thread

I have seen hatches done several ways. The easiest is to build a little open top box that is big enough to put all of your swithches, charge jack, retract fill valve, and anything else you...
