Hello

My Zero weights precise 5 kg. without added weight to the nose.
But unfortunately it crashed badly because of a pilot error, and was not rebuilt again before it was thrown away.

RE: Seaplane pictures

Here are a few pictures of my brand new CMPro Cessna 182 (50) on floats.
I'm only got 10 flights on it yet and I just love it. [8D]
It is fitted with an old OS61SF (2-stroke) Engine, "Pitts"...

RE: Seaplane pictures

OS75AX maybe, but an OS91FX will sure be overkill.
I had to place my receiver battery as rear as possible (in the tail), to obtain a correct CG.

RE: Royal Kits

Hello everybody

Well, of course it is a bit annoying when it happens, but I look at it this way - crashing is a part of the hobby, - build - fly - crash ;)
I hate to rebuild planes after a...

RE: Seaplane pictures

No, but lots of power though - very agile.
With wheels on it weights around 3,1 Kg, and with floats nearly 4 Kg, but still does not have any tip stall characteristics. ;)

RE: Seaplane pictures

Hello Strykaas

I have a 15 years old but perfect running OS 61SF 2-stroke in it - lots of power.
I suspect my Acro Wot with floats maybe is too tail heavy, so I will move the receiver battery...

RE: Seaplane pictures

Here is a picture of my Acro Wot on floats, which is a pain in the ass to fly with floats - to heavy I think. [X(]
And in the background a club member's Taxi Cub on floats, witch flies very well. :)

RE: Royal Kits

No, unfortunately it crashed in a landing process – pilot error. :(
Previous flights I used to lower the gears first and then the flaps.
When gears was down the Zero had a little nose down...

RE: Groovy 50 3D- ARF from World Models???

Hi

Well now I have built and flown the Groovy50-3D, and must say it flies great, BUT it is not a 3D-plane. Too heavy.
Mine came up with 2,9 Kg. - the specifications says 2,6 Kg.
Maybe it is...
