I have to say that's what I call a skillfull retrieval. Great job climbing that tree. Glad you didn't loose the P-51.

Downthrust will prevent climbing when the throttle is increased. I believe that the +1/2 wing incidence is there to increase lift at lower speeds (positive angle of attack) but tends to cause...

The built-up version has the following incidence setup shown on the plans.

0 degrees on the stabilizer, +1/2 degrees for the wing, and 1 3/4 down thrust.
