I ended up on the road this week. I flew into Wilmington, NC and was gassing up when a Navy T-34 flew in. I got a close up shot of the center canopy rub rails for you. They are not painted....

I suspect that some guy with a pocket protector and a slide rule figured out the the air flowing around the stack was too turbulent and needed to be smoothed out. :D

Nice job. The 'welds' look really good. GEARED is right about the ring flange to get that realistic gap. With a split-cowl it will need to a split ring flange. I'll have my stacks...
