RE: Esky honey bee CP

I'm with ya. I have already bought 2 main gear/shaft assemblies, a tail rotor blade and a canopy. All fit perfectly.

RE: Esky honey bee CP

Again, great vid!

I have a silly question....does the heli bank naturally in the turns, or are you giving it some roll input? I haven't gotten that far along in my flight experience yet. Thanks.

RE: Esky honey bee CP

What is the choice of a 12V power supply? I have the esky field charger that came with my heli and I was thinking of buying a 12V power adpter from Radio Shack. Any thoughts?

RE: Esky honey bee CP

Hermitdafrog, here is the link. You have to pull up the heli it's self and look at the replacement parts. They are FP blades. I'm using then until I gain confidence to go inverted.

RE: Esky honey bee CP

I'm no expert, but you should consider the Kyosho M24 blades. They are extremely durable and really take a beating. I have had several blade strikes on walls, chairs, and just about everything...

RE: Esky honey bee CP

I've been hovering with a pair of FP blades from the kyosho Caliber M24. They are very durable plastic that take a real beating. I got them from Tower Hobbies for 9.99 a pair. I have had several...

RE: Esky honey bee CP

I did the gear mesh with paper today and it helped a lot. I put on a pair of kyosho M24 blades that I had and it got up in the air pretty quick even with my cheap 8.4v NiMH. I know these blades are...

RE: Esky honey bee CP

Thanks rbiasi. I do this on my other rc's but wasn't sure if this is a normal sound right out of the box. It does seem that the mesh might be to tight, thus the whining sound as the rotor comes to a...

RE: Esky honey bee CP

Thanks casipak. Mine just didn't seem to have much pitch in normal mode. Maybe it was because it didn't have enough head speed due to the low voltage battery. It did seem to work ok in 3d. I ran the...

What did you do about the bent shaft? Did he replace it for you? I just got it last night and haven't had a chance to try it yet. Also, have you tried the NiMH?
