Remember that our NiCADs are 1.2 volts, NOT 1.5 volts. 8 times that little .3 volts difference is a full 2.4 volts difference at the radio, more after charging.... The radios are set for...

A couple of things here. First, LiPos and Tx's don't go well together, and a "few volts" more are a few too many. 11.6 or 11.7 is about as high as I've seen any standard Tx's charge to.

Spektrum and JR standard servos are as strong as anybody else's standard servos, and tough as nails. That's all one needs for a standard 4-channel application, which is simply a baseline, base-cost...
