Remember that our NiCADs are 1.2 volts, NOT 1.5 volts. 8 times that little .3 volts difference is a full 2.4 volts difference at the radio, more after charging.... The radios are set for...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Skydiver,

RE: Spektrum DX-7

A couple of things here. First, LiPos and Tx's don't go well together, and a "few volts" more are a few too many. 11.6 or 11.7 is about as high as I've seen any standard Tx's charge to.

No...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

I thought maybe there were allowances for extra receivers. Seems that might be the case?

A guy walks into his Doctor and says; "Doc, it hurts when I move like THIS...."

The Doctor says; "Then don't move like that!....."

Heat and moisture are electronics worst enemies. That's...

Did you hear anything, Onewasp? Yeah, me neither. No intelligent life to be found. Nothing worth reporting, to be sure. Beam me up, Scottie....

By the way, Onewasp, I think that...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

You keep saying the same thing over and over, and you logic is severely flawed. That's what I'll call it here, as opposed to calling it total "Spin" on the truth, because at the voltage levels this...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! 1/20th of one percent of everybody out there using these will have this happen to them, which means compared to the old 72MhZ systems it can be considered...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

The arguing is actually on-point. We call this phenomenon; "points of view" and as far as I can see there are many technical points being presented.

I agree with Dick Hanson that the brown-out...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Spektrum and JR standard servos are as strong as anybody else's standard servos, and tough as nails. That's all one needs for a standard 4-channel application, which is simply a baseline, base-cost...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Exactly, and well said. Low volts for the Spektrum is about 3.4 to 3.5, but you've got the idea, it's WAY low. Any fool flying at 2.4 volts on a 4.8 cell battery is REALLY, REALLY,...

People have ALWAYS pushed it too far and flown when they KNEW their batteries were too low. So, YOU are saying that when people push it too far that it's the MANUFACTURER'S problem? And when the...
