The truck has been done for a while, but life has gotten the way. I really need to get this done, and post the video. Thanks for your patience!

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Hey Mz how about a TMaxx trans? You would have to rotate thr motor, but it looks like it has plenty of room.

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Hey MZ, have you ever thought of replacing the trans with something else? If you can, send pictures of the chassis with the trans installed, and we'll see if there is something else that we can fit...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

I had looked at that Chevy body, but when you cut it down, the wheels are too close to the cab, it looks wrong. This is a Parma 1/10 scale truck body that I shotrened. I got it at the LHS, they had...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Actually, the rims are stock. As far as the GT trans, if you can post a picture of it I see if I can do anything, there's always a way to make them stronger.

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

As far as the suspension goes, I have the shock springs turned up with limiters so it won't bottom out. The engines are .16 Megatechs, which are really easy to tune, and as far as I'm concerned...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Here are the newest pictures of it done. I had to put the steering servo between the engines, and wound up using 2 Trinity NEXT fuel tanks due to space. I also installed metal diffs front and rear,...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Yes that is the Tmaxx from RC Car Action August 2004 with 3 engines. I still have it but don't run it much. I've been out of town working, so not much time to work on the NEXT, but I will finish it...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Yes the 3 engine Tmaxx runs great. The Next isn't done yet, I've been really busy. Hopefully I will finish it this week and have pics or a video. Thanks again!

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

It is in the Traxxas monster truck forum. Search for "3 engine Tmaxx" in the lower right corner and it will come up. There are also pictures of the twin engine Rubicon Jeep in that also.

Here are some new pics with both engines and exhausts installed, both tanks, driveshafts, made from RS2 and Trinity axles, and radio. All that is left is the steering servo and its ready to run. The...

RE: Twin engine 1/16 Trinity NEXT 4X4

Yes, I have tried to make linkages to work everything, but using micro servos from airplanes is just easier. Last night I finished the left side, with the muffler and fuel tank and all servo linkages.

Here are some more pictures with the throttle/brake servo mount installed with the servos. The throttle servos mount on the sides, with the brake in the back. I will be usine 2 stock Trinity fuel...

RE: 3 engine T Maxx

Yeah, that sounds cool in theory, but with a multi engine car, RPM is more what you look for. Twin .46s don't rev out like smaller motors and are murder on driveline parts. That car is actually...
