RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

- Removed the case and used a tie strap to hold it in place.
- Removed both side windows.

I'm sure it's getting much more...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Just for the record, I didn't say you were smoking anything and wasn't rude to you in any way.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

My opinion of the durability just keeps going up....

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Oh and I fixed the problem where it tilts backwards onto it's tail before lifting off. Just moved the pitch trim forward like 4 clicks. I don't really understand why this didn't affect the hover trim...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

How about just making the top rotor fixed pitch?

I thought there was a video here somewhere of a Hirobo XRB going like 50mph. No way it did that with the stabilizing system.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

I've officially decided these are indestructable. I've crashed at least 10 times including the ceiling about 5 minutes ago. Normally a ceiling touched doesn't cause a crash but this time I was...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Thanks

Yeah Robtor flew my Lama 2 and his Walkera #5 outside and it didn't work out well at all. I didn't even feel a breeze but he had to go full deflection into the "wind" to stay in one place...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Few questions/comments today:

1. I'm convinced that one motor has better cooling than the other because at the beginning of a flight mine wants to spin to the right and after about a minute it's...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

To say the least. The whole thumb-sucking thing is freaking me out.

Hey, what's a good replacement battery? I'd like to get a couple more. I ask the ebay guy and he said he could get them for me...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

You're right... I only had time to set the timer on my camera and fall asleep. I'm dreaming of a safe landing.

(It's about 4-6 inches off in this picture. Note the shadow of the LG.)

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Well I learned a trick. Get the thing to ballance on the ground effect about a foot off the ground and all trimmed out and you can put the Tx down and go take a piss and it'll still be hovering in...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

Just got mine. Flyies great after ROBTOR came over and trimmed it out for me.

Taking off from a smooth surface is fine but from carpet instead of lifting straight up it leans back until the tail...

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

I'm still waiting for mine to come but I'm curious how manuverable these are. Is it hovering with some directional control or 45 deg bank turn, 90 deg bank turn, a roll, a loop? Any or none of these....

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD

I just ordered mine on Friday but haven't got it yet. I'm interested in one upgrade. More flight time per charge. Doesn't have to be continous flight time. Not interested in more voltage/power.
