I just scuffed them up with 0000 steel wool and sprayed very light coats of lustercoat. I think very light dusting coats is the key.

I used .5 cloth on mine with the first coat of Z-poxy thinned with rubbing alchohol. I have heard that you can have curing problems by thinning epoxy but I did not. The first coat stuck down the...

Here mine, just completed with help from some great info in this thread. Glassed and auto paint, OS .91, Robart retracts. 6 flights so far. Great realistic flyer with no bad habits.
