In case anybody was following this thread with interest: There's a new JR servo, on the way from Horizon, that may finally be the perfect CCPM swash servo. Its specs look very similar to the 8715...

RE: JR 8715 servo

I see that Horizon is going to be selling the 8711 servo. The 8711 appears to be a sibling (same case) of the 8715. Now can we expect to see US availability of the 8715 in the future?

Or maybe...

The JR 8715 servo .09/166 @ 4.8v

I've seen some talk online about this servo, but I don't see anyone selling the servo.
Is this a new product? Will we see it in the US?

Judging by the...

DZ9000S Servo Specs at 4.8v

Can I use the DZ9000S servo in a 4.8v system?

Is there some way to make a educated guess at the performance specs when using this servo at 4.8v?

Optic 6 inhibit trim levers?

I use the Optic 6 for flying my helicopter. I would like to disable/inhibit the right and left trim levers because I'm always accidently moving them.

Is there a way to disable these levers?

RE: Optic 6 Heli Trim

dose,

One thing you can try is to trim everything in normal mode just how you like it, then transfer those trim values into your subtrim menu. Then you set all your trims, in every flight mode,...

RE: JR PCM rx and Futaba 601 Failsafe issue

The radio system is likely performing to spec, but it has to be involved somehow.

I wonder if the 601's polling frequency has an interesting beat against the RX refresh rate. Does the RX...

RE: JR PCM rx and Futaba 601 Failsafe issue

The 601 holds and flies perfectly fine. The only oddity is in the lockout behavior. I need to get my hands on an oscilloscope to really see what is coming out of the RX.

I swapped out the...

RE: 9303 Prog.Mix? #,+, TIMT

Understood, and thank you.

What I really need is two separate throttle hold features. I need one set to idle and another set to kill. I'm still trying to figure that out.
