I have lapped a lot of valves this way.

As long as you end up with a shinny ring all the way around the valve then it's good.

On car engined I simply chucked up the valve stem and pulled...

My thinking if it was pumping better it could be running richer.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if you are going lean or rich.

I just purchased a new Carb. for mine.
It's for a 32cc engine. ...

I'm starting to believe a smaller Carb. is the answer.

Here is what Ralph at rcignitions.com had to say when I asked.

"I converted 4,2 with the stock mag and CW rotation and 2 with EI and CCW rotation....Making a mount plate for the CCW rotation...

I thought I purchased a 65cc Stihl, ... but it doesn't look like the one in the picture.

It's the stock Carb.

It says "60" on the choke.

I tried taking some pictures, but I can't get them off my camera.

I have tryed adjusting the needles.

The only way it will...

I have a Stihl 65. It has trouble with transistion from idle with out use of the choke.

Any ideas?

I picked one of these up, actually got it today.

It's already converted. Prop Hub and C&H ignition.
I was told when I bought it that the 65s have an issue transitioning from and idle.
